Clubs

We have 7 after-school programs that take place Monday through Friday after school. We also have several special events that happen throughout the year. Scroll down for a brief overview of each club and special event. Sponsor a program or get involved!

Every other Tuesday evening we have our high school bible study. This is an incredible ministry that was initiated by one of the fathers in the community. We share a meal each week, play some games, and break out into small groups to build community.

High School Night

Every other Tuesday night we have our middle school bible study. We share a meal, break out into small groups, and finish the evening playing games together.

Clean Up

Every other Thursday we walk through the neighborhood picking up garbage off the streets. This is an easy and fun way for the kids to give back to the community they live in. We strive to be an organization that leads by example as well as equip the youth with what they need to be an example.

Homework Club

Every Monday after school we offer tutoring as well as a space for our middle and high school students to study and work on their homework assignments.

Adventure Club

Every other Friday we take the kids on a fun adventure. Adventure is one of the ways we strive to bring the love of Christ to the kids of the community. By introducing them to new experiences, it allows them to encounter God in a new way.

Every other Tuesday we host a club during lunch at Ocean View High School. This club was started by one of our students, and his mission is to share the gospel with his classmates. We share a meal, play a game, and share a quick devotional.

Events

Surf Camp

Every summer we host a surf camp for the youth. Every Tuesday, we take the kids to the beach for surf lessons, a meal, and a bible study. We finish off the 4-week camp with a local camping trip in Malibu. Camping is a new experience for many of our students, and is quite the adventure.

During the winter months, we take the middle and high schoolers up to Thousand Pines for a long weekend. For most of our kids that attend it will be their first time experiencing the fun camp culture that many of us got to experience as kids. This is a great time for the kids to dive deeper into their relationship with God as well as their connection with the leaders.

Winter Camp

Once a Month we hold a gathering in the neighborhood where we put up a big projection screen and watch a family friendly movie with some food. Unlike most of our events that center around the Middle and High Schoolers, Noche De Cine is for the whole family. These nights allow for us to engage with the families of Oak View in a fun unique way that has helped us build stronger relationships with the Community
